DSD+ FastLane v 2.246 - DSDPlus.radios File

I scan a P25 frequency with frequent traffic. On the DSD+ P25 1R Channel Activity screen it shows Target and Source numbers for the traffic. I also have a well populated DSDPlus.radios file that contains some 90,000 entries. I obtained the file from some download that was offered in one of these postings. What am I missing? I would like to see what agency the traffic is from instead of a source number. Decoding is fine otherwise.

The Target and Source numbers need to have an alpha tag assigned in the Radio File. Sounds to me like those 90,000 entries are not enough, You need more...
I hate mystery numbers, when I see one I save/add it to the radio file manually..
using the -1 TG value works for me.. (If none was indicated)

DSD+ may eventually move these entries to a legit TG ID, Until then I at least get an indication that I saved the ID previously and can track when it appears again and whether the src & tgt recur's..
Also helps to determine if they were a result of poor decoding, or if they appear again and again that they may be legit..
At the minimum I see a "?" in the event window indicating that it was saved previously.. Determining the actual user or purpose is another ball game..

90,000 users for a P25 frequency?
If you are monitoring conventional P25 and you want IDs to show up, you need to create custom system IDs.
If you are monitoring trunked systems and you want aliases to show up, those IDs that belong to a specific system need to be edited to show what system they belong to.

Are you monitoring a site on the MPSCS 800 MHz system? If so, you need to populate a file named DSDPlus.groups with the appropriate information in the specified format.

place that file in the folder you run DSDPlus from.
