Hi there,

I recently started playing with DSD+ think its an amazing piece of software :)

I setup a small scan list of some airband frequencies in my area and I'm using an older NESDR Smart device.

Everything seems to work normally for the first maybe 60 seconds or so where I launch fmp24 and start the scan mode. I can see it scanning and can also hear and see it stop on the frequencies in my list which is great.

After this period though, I no longer hear audio (I can still see it stopping on frequencies with activity but can't hear anything). I can get it going again by closing the application and relaunching it (it starts again with no issues, runs for a bit and then audio stops outputting). I've tried playing with the squelch, filters, bandwidth, etc when this happens with no luck.

I tried launching fmp24 along with the 1R batch file to see if maybe I needed to turn an additional option on but something similar happens (I can see the audio waveform show when there is supposed to be sound but its like nothing is playing even after choosing to monitor all audio, confirming the audio output, etc). I have confirmed when the audio stops my main audio device is still able to play sound.

Has anyone encountered something like this before or know if there might be some logs I can dive into to check what might be causing the audio to drop out?

Thanks!

I would suggest that it may well be something else in your computer.
Recently I hooked up a second computer to a single monitor using as HDMI switch. If I switched to the second computer, when I returned to the primary (DSDPlus computer) machine, the program would no longer put out audio to the speakers. The recordings would be fine so the program was working but the interruption of the HDMI to the monitor caused the program to mute.

I was playing with another machine and no audio issues anymore! You are right, something definitely weird going on with the system audio itself. Thx for the tips!
