Hi guys hope someone can help me out here.

I have a busy TIII Hytera network locally at Manchester Airport in the UK, So when i load DSD+ I get a red error message informing me that "No data for current site found in DSDPlus.frequencies file"

So I am trying to add this data into said file but having some issues with it, On the DSD Event log window it informs me that there are 2 networks T1 and T2? (I questioned this as each time I tune to the freq I get a different network ID), T1 does not seem to display any site data but T2 says "Site:T2-1.1".

So with that info I am trying to populate the data file like:

TIII, T1, 0, 33, 440.200, 440.200, 0
TIII, T2, T2-1.1, 33, 440.200, 440.200, 0

But this is causing 2 error that say "Invalid or missing network ID" for those 2 lines.

What am I not doing or what am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Ok so after some messing about with the Network IDs and Site IDs I can sort of get a result

TIII, 1, 0, 33, 440.200, 440.200, 0
TIII, 2, 1.1, 33, 440.200, 440.200, 0

seems to kind of work and start displaying the frequency in the the channel activity window so now another issue is after I have also populated the sites and networks files I can get the network and site names to show up in the event log window but if I tune to another random TIII frequency it will show using the names that i placed into network and site data files which is obviously wrong...

Why cant I use the network ID of T1 and T2 in the above data files (frequencies, sites, networks)?

Can anyone help me on this? How can I find the Network ID of a TIII Hytera system?

The Network ID that is shown on the bottom of the Event Log window says T1 or T2 and I have been told the following:

"The network model letters are not supported or required in the DSD+ data files. Only use the Network ID and site number values"

So without the letter what is the point in using just 1 or 2? As there is a few other TIII systems also using the same numbers which defeats the purpose of being able to label networks and sites because the labels will just apply to other systems..

TIA

Read the documentation with DSDPlus about creating custom numbering for systems with the same SYSID.

Yeah I read this just now but seems it only works with FMP etc etc TCP linking, I use SDR# so this way is kind of useless to me but thanks for the reply anyway.

Almost all advanced features of DSD+ FS only work when using FMP24 as the signal source and using tcp connection for audio.

Why use SDR# if you are looking for a total solution with the full features? Just asking.

I didn't think that assigning labels to TIII/IDAS systems was classed as an "advanced feature", So now my understanding on how DSD+ would assign the labels using FMP24 and conflicting SYSIDs for different TIII/IDAS systems is to also pull the frequency from the data files and compare to the tuned frequency in the FMP24 program and this is the only way that I can think of that it could differentiate between the different systems.

I use SDR# because it works well and has everything I need plugin wise etc but I guess I will have a look and see how FMP24 works for my needs.

Thanks
