This partial statement was made in one of DSDAuther's comments before he went silent.

"Those that are having trouble decoding DMR/MOTOTRBO, if you can provide a .wav file in 48k/16bit/mono from your disc tap of the signal I will look at it. DSD currently only supports repeater output signals so if this is not a repeater output that might be the issue."

My question is this: What is the difference between a repeater output signal and a radio output signal? I
can only think of 2 answers, a: signal strength b: data is not the same. I have never worked on a repeater
system so I have no practical knowledge to go by.

If it's anything like ProVoice or P25, the sync bits are different so DSD doesnt realize is is a signal to decode. With a GOOD clean wav file to analyze, one could easily adjust the sync bits to work with repeated/simplex digital voice.

Signal strength is a factor but I would not say it is the reason you are getting no decode.
