I noticed there are 3 scanlist files in my latest DSDPlus, "FMP24" "FMPA" and "FMPP"....they all have the same instructions on how to edit. Which one is the correct one to use?

Depends on which SDR dongle you are using, and therefore which FMPx executable you will be using.
FMP24.scanlist for your rtl-sdr dongles
