DSD+ Window positions

I have edited the DSD+ CC.bat and VC.bat files to change the window screen positions. I know that wsl = Source Audio window; wel = Event Log window; and wcl = Channel Activity window.

What about the FMP control channel and voice channel spectrum display windows? Is there a way to adjust their position?

I would think you would want to set the PROPERTIES on those programs to NOT let Windows position them, then move them to where you want them, then be done. (same as you have to do with the main DSD window)

From the notes & help:

To change the location of the Spectrum window, use
-wsl<v.h>

To hide one or both windows with FMP, use:
-_<num>
in the command line or batch file.
num value in in the notes file. 1, 2, or 3

The wsl parameter is for the Source Audio window (blue background), not the FMP spectrum window.

when you start FMP from a batch file (the one that calls for FMP.exe), it opens two screens. One is the Console and the other is the Spectrum Window.
-wsl in the FMP batch file controls the Spectrum Window
-wsl in the DSDPlus batch file is the source audio

Thanks Chris. I had made my window position changes to the CC.bat and VC.bat files. I had not made any modifications to the FMP-CC.bat and FMP-VC.bat files. Your tip works, but when you press the "W" key in either of the Event Log windows, it doesn't show you the positions for the FMP windows, just the source audio, event log, and channel activity.

Simply move one of the other windows and use the "W" command to figure out the numbers you need and place them in the FMP command/batch.

You're pressing a key ('W') in one program (DSD+) and expecting it to tell you about a window in a different program (FMP)

Pretty sure that if you press '?' in FMP, it lists the spectrum window's screen location.

Yes, I just found that out, thanks. I run most of those windows minimized to reduce screen clutter, so out of sight, out of mind, I guess.
