I monitoring a IDAS site in the San Francisco bay area, DSDPlus VC event log is showing

"ARS; Tgt - 7019 Src 68800"

I know what Tgt and Src stand for, but what is ARS?

Thank you Tom, if only FMPA Map or LRRP would show, this would be neat

It means Automatic Registration System or something to that effect.

It is indicating when a radio is turned on and registers to the system and should de register the radio when it leaves coverage range or is turned off.

ARS is not a location service.

LRRP or LOCN indication by DSD is for location reporting.
