Hi guys,
Can you organise only the files you need for a particular device, into a separate folder, creating new folders for rtl dongle, sdrplay etc.. I keep forgetting which batch files are used for what.
Ive tried to do this, but even though i have the same files in each folder, they do not run or open.
What exactly do i need for the files to open correctly ?

Yes, just create a folder for each SDR with a complete DSD+ installation in each one.

Ive tried to do this, but even though i have the same files in each folder, they do not run or open.
What error messages is DSD+ outputting?

What exactly do i need for the files to open correctly ?
A computer :ROFLMAO:
Just make sure all the required DSD+ files are in each folder.

Copy the batch files you have customized for each SDR into each folder.
Make sure the batch file use relative paths so things run from the folder there are run from.
Actually, running DSD+ from separate folders you may not need to use the batch files as DSD+ should remember settings.

I did place all files in each folder with all batch files and all it does is flash on screen tries to open but closes straight away. i thuoght this was strange as i have the same files in each. I was also thinking that my virus program might be stopping it from opening but cant see any records of it.

Update : i finally found that the virus program had stopped the batch files from running. I had a warning just pop up now ( which i hadnt seen before) on the screen blocking the application. Thanks for your help....

You can also run all your dsd systems in one folder for even better organization if wanted.
Look through the txt files for -F to read more info about how to set it up

So why don't you just create a cheat sheet and refer to it when you forget?

It's not like it'd have to say much:

RTL Dongle: run FMP24-CC.bat and 1R.bat

SDRPlay: run FMPP-CC.bat and 1R.bat

That seems far simpler than making multiple folders.

You could further improve things by making shortcuts to those batch files on your desktop. Then it's super simple to just click on them and you're up and running.
