Can we expect a faster scanning speed with FMP ?

mine is about 1 ch/ second;
i can't scan more than 4 frequencies , otherwise i would lose most of the audio

does speed depend from computer specs ?

I get the same scanning speed whether I'm using an old Atom-based netbook or a modern i5 laptop. Speed is definitely faster with the latest FMP24, as it uses squelch logic to speed things up.

So when are we getting the next fast lane release, if any? Or is DSD+ done at this point? I thought they were gonna be adding Fusion and P25 Phase 2 audio and was hoping they'd fix the S1 / S2 problem.

It seems like there really aren't many new releases any more. The last release didn't add much. So is anything actively in the works as we speak, or is this it?

I'd like to plug again for dPMR decoding.....the Icom flavour. I'm slightly at a loss as to why DSD+ doesn't decode it already, as it decodes the protocol and frame info ok, but there's no audio codec support.....weird as Icom state they also use AMBE2+. I'm happy to provide raw samples again if the DSDAuthors want to give it a go......it would be nice to avoid paying AOR $1000 just to have this feature (now in their DV1).

Around me about 10 dpmr stations, so i wouldn't lack in samples to send (as i've done already, but no feedback afterwards ...)
A first step would be at least to display RIDs, TGs...
...also tell is signal is clear or encrypted

I expect the DV1 in a few months, hoping i can afford it

However,like many users, i'd love DSD to be as multi-purpose as possible

I'm trying to decode DSTAR - Icom based digital radio on HAM frequency, but I've heard only digital noise and DSD+ doesn't showed any info at all.
What do you mean, do I need an extra plugin for that?

They would have put that in a paid fast lane release if they are working on that. They seem to have their energies directed at the fmp program, rather than doing anything with DSD+ itself.

Not many agencies even use BP due to it's extremely weak nature. If you have a need to listen to BP just buy a Moto radio or an ADCR25 board.

Just an example, but we can see a mixture of BP and other enc mode. If you can use, for example, TYT md380 how can you start to try to do a work? I have to underline that sometimes there is no possibilities to obtain the things you mentioned in your post.

Yeap, that's another thing. D-Star. DSD+ just slowly scrolls all this gibberish on the screen but doesn't let you see the callsigns or messages or anything.

It would be great if FMP24 would recognize RTL dongle serial numbers (like Unitrunker does). As of now I have to unplug and re-attach dongles not already in-use by another program, whenever I use one or more instances of FMP24. So it would be great if there was a way to address each dongle directly by serial number on the FMP24 command line. Admittedly, this would only benefit those who took the trouble to create serial numbers with rtl_eeprom, but regardless it would be a nice feature addition.
