My computer found "Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.D!ml" in the DSDPlus FMP24.exe file. Has anybody seen this before and should I restore the file or should I remove it?

Yes. It's a false positive. It has been reported many many times on the forums (search). Exempt your DSDPlus folder in your antivirus settings, and perhpas even exempt specific files like dsdplus.exe, fmp24.exe.

You guys should contact the creators of the virus scanners and see what they think...

This started a few days ago and is starting to get tiresome. I think it was after the last Win update. I expect it is a false/positive I did restore it when I found it had been taken and put in quarantine. Where do I stop it from happening?

you can just add a Firewall rule exception to mitigate this issue in the future,

hit the windows button
Type in the word: Defender

click on "manage settings"

scroll down till you see exclusions
under exclusions click on "Add or remove Exclusions"

click on "Add an Exclusion"

select folder, and pick your DSDPlus folder wherever you put it.

just make sure when your selecting the exclusion, that you exclude the whole folder, so all your files will be left alone.
