I am trying to monitor this system:

I have this in my frequencies file:

TIII, 2, 1.2, 3, 169.950, 169.320, 0
TIII, 2, 1.2, 9, 170.190, 169.350, 0
TIII, 2, 1.2, 19, 170.100, 169.440, 0
TIII, 2, 1.2, 33, 170.370, 169.650, 0
TIII, 2, 1.2, 81, 170.170, 171.150, 0

I am getting these errors:

DSDPlus.frequencies error line 33: Invalid or missing protocol
and
5 frequency records loaded: 1 error

Any ideas anyone? TIA :)

It would probably be helpful to post whatever is on line 33 of your file, since that's where it's apparently encountering an error.

OK so line 33 was from another system I thought it was remarked out with the
#
symbol but I guess not. I'm probably getting mixed up with decoders. so the problem appears to be gone, thanks GTR.

In the DSD frequencies file to I have to have both slots like:
TIII, 2, 1.2, 3, 169.950, 169.320, 0
TIII, 2, 1.2, 4, 169.950, 169.320, 0

or is one slot enough?

Can I add all frequencies for the entire system (province wide) in the frequencies file or is this where the site loader comes in?

Actually I just added all frequencies for complete system with both slots and it does not make any errors, nice :)

And do you hear anything? I do not have freqs doubled in any of my freq files.

OK I have them all doubled for both slots and I am getting voice calls. I will try with just the one set and post in day or so.

I really remember something about 1 freq per LCN and use the odd number LSN and only putting the freqs in once per line. Can't put my finger on it.

It'll work either way, but it's more efficient to list only the odd numbered slots/LSN's as Dave pointed out. Less chance of fat fingering something, smaller file size, and it's not as tedious.
