Hello guys, 3 days before I paid for the fast lane program of DSD plus. They sent me updated files. I tried as per the Read Me file, but unable to upgrade properly with the old version and having some issues to start dsdplus (updated) with SDR#. Please check the screenshots. For "lame_enc.dll" I did a fresh download of DLL files from dsdplus.com and checked. but error remains the same. Please help me.dsd fastlane error.jpg

Sorta looks like your directory structure is messed up - can you provide some screenshots of your dsd folder?

Sounds familiar, I think that issue has come up before with those who want to use SDR# instead of the FMPx that is made to run with DSDPlus. A search should turn up the answer in the forums.

This is the folder where I put new update files in the older dsd folder. lame_enc.dll (fresh downloaded from dsd site yesterday )and suggested as per dsdplus devs libfftw3f-3.dll.

Thank you Chris. I'm also finding a solution from various sources and trying hard to resolve it.

Yea, I didn't read your post carefully enough - didn't catch that you were using SDR#. Clearly the dll is not where the program expects it to be (or maybe a version error.)

The new lame_enc.dll must be slightly different than the old version because I had the same problem you describe. I thought I was copying the new copy to dsd+ folder several times but dsd still wouldn't function. I finally tried deleting lame_enc.dll from dsd folder before I pasted new copy, then dsd worked fine. I suspect that new file was not overwriting old file when it was not. Probably because of identical name files. However I did not get a pop up message to overwrite file like win10 usally does, I do remember that

"Required file not found in current working folder"

You're not running DSD+ in your DSD+ folder, right?

You're running DSD+ in the SDR# folder, because you're using an SDR# DSD+ plugin that runs DSD+ in the SDR# folder, right?

Where does DSD+ say it's running?

Yes, I'm running DSD+ from the DSD+ folder.

NO, the DSD+ folder is on 2 locations 1st on my D: drive which is the public version, and 2nd on C: drive (C:\dsdplus) which is upgraded (new files in the old version). Both folder directory is not in sdr# at all. Yeah, but the plugin file is in the sdr# folder to run dsd+.

Where does DSD+ say it's running?
Didn't see any error that specifically saying this question. (The upgraded version is in c:\dsdplus)

Note: I was very excited to work with the dsd+ fast lane program. Trying hard for 4 days, not there is nothing happens positively to increase my hopes to work hard again and again to resolve this issue. I'm losing my interest.

Out of curiosity, why are you wasting so much time trying to get DSDPlus working with SDR#? Are you able to get it working from FMPx?

This is what should be in your DSDPlus FL folder it shouldn't be mixed in with SDR# at all. I feel like you're making it harder than it has to be. Keep it simple!

ignore all the dates and numbers only note the files. The reason it looks like that is because I used the command dir >list.txt command while in the command window. this is all you need. FMPx + DSDPlus linking is the way.

I found that I was using DSD+ FastLane and it was giving me this error. Downloading the public version of DSD+ and not installing FastLane made it work in SDR#

Errors like this have been brought up soooo many times, and the answer is always the same. Stop with SDR# for now. Get DSDPlus running, as it was intended, with FMP24 or FMPA. Once that's working, then introduce SDR# back into the equation if need be. At least at that point you'll have a known working configuration to deal with. Don't forget that the latest fastlane version also has the option to download all required files and dlls.
