Hello, I am looking for the correct frequency or the national weather service MICRON site. I have the correct talk group out of the ISICS system, But the only Polk County tower as of now that is listed and that particular system is the West Des Moines simulcast so I'm going to try that, but if anybody knows the correct control channel for the micron frequency I would greatly appreciate it very much. Again, I have the talk group I just need to frequency, Or frequencies. Thank you in advance.

NWS Micron originates from this site, LWC Communications - Des Moines Trunking System, Des Moines, Iowa - Scanner Frequencies , in southern Story County, near Alleman and is patched to the ISICS system. This site is DMR so you will need that update for your scanner if you don't already have it. If you don't have DMR, Westcom-ISICS has pretty good coverage in Polk County.

Yes, I do have the DMR upgrade as well as pro voice and the last one that I can't think of off the top of my head, but the 3 upgrades that uniden offers that I purchased, offers that covers 3 systems, Pro Voice, DMR, and NXDM, So I should pretty much be able to receive all or at least most types of trunking systems Including the NEXEDGE NXDM Kenwood systems, obviously all the Motorola systems and I am abel to receive Harris systems as well, so I've got all the upgrades in my radio, on top of which I have a DMR handheld radio For use with my fire department, if it's Motorola MOTOTRBO 7550e. If the DMR frequency for micron happens to be conventional, and VHF, could you please give me the receive frequency and then I can program that in to my 7550E and held radio. Otherwise, on my scanner, which is a Uniden BCD996P2, so Resume I can receive all of the new phase 2 Digital systems, Including ISICS and some RAYCOM systems, so therefore, I can still receive the simulcast patch from MICRON Through either the Story County system or the WESTCOMM system that has the conventional patch through. But again, if you are able to give me the frequency for the MICRON NETWORK,, as long as its VHF conventional, I can actually program it in to my a handheld radio and ne able to scan and monitor that. Thank you very much.
