I think the db used to list TG2819 as CO Humane Society CH-2.

It was active here in Grand Junction today with mostly encrypted transmissions according to my Pro96Com. I wasnt around to hear any of the nonencrypted traffic. It seems odd to me that the Humane Society would need encryption, but stanger things have happened.

Any ideas what this TG might really be?

FWIW - Obama left yesterday, so this would be unrelated to his visit, and none of this was active yesterday while he was here.

When encryption (ADP) is included with the radio or is of minimal cost (~$5) they're likely to have it and use it...and it locks in that customer/agency to one vendor's radio, which makes the 'voice privacy' a good selling point for that particular vendor.

Any indication that it's not the Colorado Humane Society (i.e. radio IDs from another known agency using it)?

I've heard traffic on that in the past, to me it sounded like they were going to different houses doing welfare checks. Whoever it was, dispatch would give them times everytime the unit went out at each residence, and when they cleared. This was in Fremont County, mostly Florence and Penrose addresses that i recognized.

The radio ID's that I saw hadnt been seen by me before. They were from zones 1, 2, & 3.

The TG is not now in the db, has anyone decided that it truly is the Humane Society? I have never seen it used here on the western slope before. Radio ID 129371 is the radio that is affiliated to the Grand Mesa site. All the others were just being received on the active TG.
