Anyone know what DTRS Talkgroup 9500 is? I noticed it on my pro96com log, but did not have a chance to hear any traffic on it.

Before I take my stab, I need to know what tower and when you heard it. Happen to have the associated Radio IDs?

I have logged 9500 off Thorodin also radios were 136017, 136029 & 136030

9500 also shows up on the Auraria (700) site. I don't know who it is either, though.

A pattern of sorts has emerged with radio ID's since the 3rd ZC went online in that the 1st digit of the radio ID is associated with the ZC in it's home area. The 1st digit appears to be added when field radios are reprogrammed for any reason. 1xxxxx, 2xxxxx & 3xxxxx.

So based on this the original 36xxx ID's are for the state of Colorado this would make these ID's you are seeing in the win96 logs state radios.

Get ready to see activity on the 700 MHz demo site for the APCO convention next month. Mot will dazzle attendees with brilliance and baffle them with ........... You get the idea.

Forgot to update this... previously the group was being used for testing by state techs and Auraria Campus. Recently, however, Auraria Campus is using it full time. Unknown on plans for continued use of the original TGIDs. As an aside, power has been upped on the Auraria 700 site, and is now reliably tracked from a fair distance!

I think this may officially make Auraria Campus PD the first Public Safety users of P25 700MHz Nationwide...
