I am trying to make a programming change to a dual deck single control head with NX5700 and NX5800 RF decks. I have tons of experience programming various TK models along with the NX200/300/700/800 but have never used the KPG-D1N. I am using a KPG-46U cable. The radio is currently programmed but I think it has an error in one of the RX frequencies as it transmits appropriately but will not receive. I did not program the radios, nor is the computer I am using the one that programmed it. When I try to read the radio it shows as PROGRAM on the radio, but shortly thereafter it brings up an error on the computer. The 2 errors I have encountered are:
1. When I try to read directly from the program tab it says "The data cannot be read from Read Data from the Transceiver because the data is configured with Multi RF deck enabled.
2. I tried the read data from the Multi RF tab and "Check all connections and COM port settings.
With both errors the radio shows PROGRAM until the error pops up then the radio reboots.
I've also received error #2 when I tried to read radio information after is asked me which deck I want to read and I selected either deck 1 or deck 2.
Any thoughts on what I can try to fix it?
