Okay so you have a dual channel minitor v the question problem is when you get back to back alerts on each channel the other channel wont alert. so lets say you have channel one ems and channel two fire the fire pages out on channel two you get the alert then a second later with (red light still on) ems gets alerted on channel one but since you already recieved an alert the ems channel wont kick off is this normal or is there a fix or does the pager have to be reset to get another alert on the oppsite channel?

When we set up pagers with two frequencies, we usually set the D position to be "Priority Scan F1". This means the pager will scan both frequencies, with F1 as the priority channel. When the pager stops on F2, you can hear a "pulsing" in the audio, this means the pager is checking F1 for any activity. If there is, the pager will immediately revert back to F1. Because of the priority, any tones heard on F2 will be interrupted, thus not allowing the pager to fully decode the tones. If you need the pager to be 100 percent reliable to alert on F1, then it must be set this way. If you do not care about missing pages, then have the pager reprogrammed for normal scan.

i thought Prority scan meant the channel was open so you heard everything like a scanner? I really dont want to pick up the other depts i dont have too?
