DuComm 220 MHz freqs

Only traffic I've heard after a few hours of listening are the 4 fire channels, which appear to be the exact same traffic as the VHF repeaters/Starcom 21 TGs. Note, it is NFM even though the license is for some form of SSB, ACSB I believe. I didn't verify the PLs, there's nothing else in this range, CSQ works fine.

Haven't heard anything on the "future use" channels.

So, it would appear that no one is missing anything if they can't monitor these, at least the fire channels.

they are for in station alerting. Each station has a 220Mhz monitor that opens up the speakers when toned out.

My post was to communicate that the traffic on the fire channels is exactly the same as what's heard over the VHF repeaters and the talk groups.

There's nothing different on 220 MHz at all. Someone kerchunks a VHF repeater, you hear it on 220 MHz too.
