DuComm additions

I saw on DuComm's website Addison is added to their list of FD's. The thing is I still here them being dispatched by Norcom. When is the change gonna happen? Also I read in a previous post Streamwood is joining DuComm. Is this true, and when is it gonna happen?

Addison FD will be on Ducom on or about Sept 15th. Takes a lot of work to change from one dispatch center to another.

Frequency?

Now for the $64 question - which of DuComm's fire freqs will they be using? I'm guessing it will be "Fire North" (154.175) as it is the freq that they're currently using.

They will be on fire east. The same as Elmhurst, Lombard, and Villa Park. This will give Addison the use of the repeter system.

Addison FD is now up and running on Fire East with Ducom.

And for those who would ask, Fire East is 154.415, PL 146.2. It is a repeater with 154.145 as the input.
