Dulles Fire Station 304?

I was behind Dulles Engine 303 the other day on Rt 606 and it made a left hand turn just north of the National Weather Service. Saw a sign that said "Station 304". Is this a new station or is this just an access road to the fire station out on the runways? Just curious.

Dulles has fire stations all around the airport. Just don't get to see them because with out a airport badge you don't have access to the areas where they are setup around the airport. They also rove around like on a fire patrol also, so they are going in and out of different access points at times including the access point which coincides with 1L/19R, the recent runway. I work near 1/19 center.

Thanks, yes you kind of forget how much real estate Dulles takes up. I think it has more square miles than the City of Alexandria
