My home page here shows that Dunklin County had updates on 08/22/08. I can't tell what was updated. I hope someone can tell me.

If you scroll down you will see some entries highlighted in yellow, that is what has been updated. In the top right of the county page, there is a link called: "County Last Updated on". If you click on that it will give you an overview of what has changed.
On the main state page you will see counties in green or yellow. The color key is below the state map.

Thanks. I did as you said and found what was updated. It was actually some freqs that was deleted.

Actually, it was tones that was added to the database to several of the agencies.

Thanks. I don't understand the tones too much yet. Does the tone setting keep the other stations out that you don't want to hear? I guess that requires a digital scanner, right?

You are correct - two agencies can use the same frequency and not interfere with the other.
But a digital scanner is NOT needed, it has nothing to do with digital. Most/ if not all newer scanners have this ability.

I bought a used Pro-2055 today from eBay. Now I get to learn how to program it.
I also bought a USB computer link cable for it.
