Hi Everyone,

I updated the database library today on my HP1 and PSR-800.

While monitoring a Fire today on frequency 155.7450, my HP1 listed the alpha tag:

Lake County
Emergency Managment
Emergency Ops

My PSR-800 listed the alpha tag:

MDC Newberry

I am quite certain the HP-1 alpha tag is correct.

Could someone help explain the confusion? And correction steps?

Greatly appreciated

The Database lists both agencies with the same frequency. All MDC agencies that I have monitored have been on the MPSCS. So I am guessing MDC Newberry 155.740 may be a legacy channel? I am confused as to why the PSR-800 is showing MDC Newberry and not Lake County Emergency Management?

I am using location based (zip code) programming for both the HP1 and the PSR-800. Seems both scanners come up with different programing?

Could someone shed some light on how the location based programming works with the Database?

Thanks much

155.745 is also used in South Lyon, in southwest Oakland County. I wouldn't be surprised at any of them showing up.

Is there a difference in CTCSS/DCS?

Thanks for responding. I think one came up with 100, but I do not remember which one?
