I am new to the area and wondered If anyone knows a local supplier for RG58 coax and SMA connectors, I have google searched but no luck... Thanks.

Thanks mciupa I gave them a call and they dont have the coax but they do seem to have a good selection of connectors.

I have used satellite cable coax ( good for the higher bands), which is reasonably priced nowadays as a substitute. They should have that in stock.

I have used the satellite cable too although it is 75 ohms it still performs quite satisfactory for shortish runs (75 ft or less) and RX only.

These guys have pretty much everything you need Nutech Electronics they have a place in Hamilton and I just happened to be there today so I am all set,

I wonder why they think OTA TV antennas should be called CATV (which these days means "cable TV") antennas?
