I'm applying for a position in Emergency Services in Durham Region. This position would require me to use the current radio system. I've already tried to listen to the system but found out it is encrypted. Can anyone point me to a general information document about the current state of the system? i.e. proper name of the system, how many towers, how many users, is talk-around in simplex or duplex?, current equipment in use, talk group naming convention, etc.
