Dutchess Co. Jail New LTR

Recently found the Dutchess Co. Jail has moved to a new radio system. Now heard using LTR on 461.5 MHz. The old 460.4625 MHz. channel is quiet. BC246T shows one ID (so far): 0-01-001. Also - so far- the only frequency identified is 461.5 (programmed as LCN-1). This frequency is licensed to New York Communications as WNHM968. It was licensed on Illinois Mtn., but now shows an address for the repeater as 150 North Hamilton St. - the location of the Dutchess Co. Sheriff's Office and jail.

Ltrdump indicates this is a two channel system, LCN's 1 and 3. An idle burst
is heard on 460.4625. FCC records indicate no other frequencies licensed at
at 150 N. Hamilton.

Ltrdump doesn't pick up idle bursts too well but I am logging 460.4625 for activity.

Just fyi, your find of 462.1875 for LCN 5 in the Marist system is confirmed by
LTRdump. Still no FCC record of that frequency.

Thanks pro-92b for the quick reply with good information. Set a radio on 460.4625 and now hear the LTR bursts. So I'll program the system as LCN-1 461.5 and LCN-3 460.4625 and see what turns up.

As for Marist on 462.1875, I have notes from 1993 showing it was a Marist maintenance repeater. So they presumably were licensed then - it must've expired since.

After monitoring 460.4625 continuously for two days, one very short transmission was logged. The LCN is 3 and the other channel in the system is LCN 1. The ID was 0-01-001 so it is confirmed that this is the other channel in the system although it appears that it is almost never used.

In addition to 0-01-001 I have logged 0-01-002, 0-01-004, and 0-01-005. 0-01-004 appears to be a maintenance group. All the loggings were very short and the others are not identifiable yet.
