DCSO is back on a frequency they stopped using some time ago - 155.640 MHz. repeater with input of 159.045 Mhz. Repeater and input using PL 141.3. They're calling it Sheriff's Main or DCSO Main. Still using 156.135 and 159.21 Mhz.

That's part the new channel line up that they are going to start using soon.

156.135 DPL of 131 will be clove tactical.

The 155.640 pl of 141.3 will be simulcast like 911 does on 155.415

Got these added to the database. Are those Tac channels simplex or repeaters?

Thanks for the quick replies. Thought I heard something key-up on old channel 151.340 MHz., but couldn't be sure. They started using 155.640 in the last 2 days - lots of NYCOMCO testing as well.

The the repeater work was done by ESS. NYCOMCO will still be supplying the portables and mobiles. Mobiles from what I've seen are going to be XTL1500's. Not sure what the portables are going to be. I would expect lots of testing in the next couple of days or weeks as they replace the Kenwoods with Motorola's

Also even though a little off topic but DCSO just took delivery of a few Ford Explorers Police Interceptors

Just a update. Some units will be operating on the new dispatch channel and some will be on the old channel until all the cars have the new radios. The cars that are using the new channel are using it for testing purposes and still have access to the old dispatch channel

Where is "Wood Row?" That's a new one to me.

I wonder if they are using the old input frequencies before the switch to 156.135. My guess is yes, but a move to DPLs for those as well.

Wood Row is a new site for the Sheriff's office. 911 has been using that site for a few years now. Woody Row is a site in the Milan area that pics up where East MTN and Silver Can't.

On the 155.640 Freq there are also 2 additional remote receive sites I'm not sure of the locations of those two additional receivers at this moment.

Ok, copy. I've always referred to that site as just "Milan" in my file. I was scratching my head a bit.
