DVI-VGA Question!

I am in the market for a new desktop. I saw one that I like and has all the things I need it to have. Just one thing has me curious. It has both a VGA and a DVI port. Does this mean I can run 2 monitors from this machine?

Better than that, DVI gives the highest resolution and contrast possible with zero signal degradation as all direct digital does by avoiding analog VGA conversion.
