On my scanner, and sometimes even my township radio, I pick up interference that sounds like a distant control channel. This morning (Aug 9) it seems to be on 502.4875 Mhz. I guess if the EB control channel assigns that frequency for communications the radio picks up the noise and parks there, not to mention the intended transmission isn't very clear. I hadn't noticed it until I started using non-trunktracking scanner upstairs, as it stops on this frequency. It seems to get worse closer to Monmouth County. Anyone know who/what this is?
