Does anyone know of the frequencies Eaglemed uses for dispatch? More specifically for the new McAlester,Ok base.

They are dispatched via cell and sat phones. They were suppose to be issued a talk group on OKWIN last year but I don't know if that happened or if it was analog or digital.

Absolutely not. They are dispatched on the old AirEvac (McAlester) frequency: 152.9525.

Ok I didn't know that. Thanks for the correction. I have always been told and it's in the database about sat and cell at least for the Stillwater helicopter.

No problem. I wish they'd go OKWIN but that is unlikely since there isn't an OKWIN site in McAlester. That could be changing soon but as of now, no.

As of the last in service we had with Eagle Med, they were still dispatched via phone. when did that change?

I don't know since we've only had EagleMed based in McAlester for a couple of months now. Before that we had AirEvac. EagleMed is using the same exact frequency and when I was home over break I heard them getting toned out several times.

I recently read where they had sent an application into the OKWIN and that they were declined due to lack of radio infrastructure. More or less they did not have adequate radios for all units and the radios did not meet the OKWIN's specifications.
