hello new to using a scanner i have a radio shack pro84 which i know isnt the best but already had it. I can get williamson so , rutherford so , and the volentere fire calls for my area. Does any one have any sugestions of any other freqs that i can use untill i can get a beter unit.

You might try the database, just click on the county you want in TN and all the freqs you need are in there. I would try Mboro PD, Nolensville, Shelbyville, Etc.
