there was a earthquake last night it was pretty strong really moved the house last night

3.9 9km SE of Valle Vista, California 2012-10-28 07:47:03 33.693°N 116.816°W 17.7

at first thouh it was a shockwave of some kind when CDF And county Fire reports came in calling it Earth Quake

There was an earthquake off the coast of BC. 7.7 as well yesterday

Looks like you had a Far-Field Aftershock of the 7.7, and we had another in the Newhall area around 8:25. Everyone should stay prepared. When the waves from the 7.7 came through, they put energy into local faults of ours that could already be close to failure. I'd expect to see some more activity.
