I have an addon for Firefox that shows me earthquakes when they are reported bt the USGS. Looks like Glenwood springs at a 3.0

39.7878 -107.203(M3.0 - COLORADO - 2009 May 01 07:42:06 UTC) - Google Maps

Magnitude 3.0 - COLORADO

Looks like one more can be added to the list.

Geologic studies indicate there are about 100 potentially active faults Colorado and more than 400 earthquake tremors of magnitude 2.5 or higher have occurred in Colorado since 1870.

Heh, that's a baby. I lived in the San Fran bay area a couple miles from the Hayward faultline. Anything under a 4.0 and you just move about with your life like nothing is happening. :)

Yes, it's a baby compared to some, but this is Colorado! Looking at the stats you would see why it's important. Also, the depth was only 3 miles, so I'm sure the S waves had to been felt in Glenwood Springs [(30 km) (20 miles) NNE of Glenwood Springs, Colorado (pop 7,700)]. What's so weird is that there isn't anything on the news sites about it, yet they report a 4.0 and an after shock in Cali? Big deal! That's a baby!

I used to live in Riverside btw....

Side note-

When is that next big one due here on the frontage?
