East Grand Rapids PD Disp

Has anyone been able to document E. GRPD? I still have not heard anything with the freq listed here or on the FCC website.

They are dispatched by Kent Sheriff. The dispatcher will say "East" before he calls the car number.

Kent County SD dispatches them on North Channel: 155.01.

The PD will use the DPW channel too: 158.94.

PD is dispatched by Kent County SD on 155.01.

They have there own local channel: 151.31

DPW, which PD might use at night, is: 158.94

They can also use county wide: 155.07

When Kent County dispatches EGR they'll use an "Eleven" car prefix, such as "East Eleven-Six", except for "East E-Fifty-Five". Sometimes the station in EGR will come on 158.940 and say "East dispatch to Eleven-Five", or whatever car they're calling. I believe 158.940 is the Car-Car repeater output, while the other is the repeater input. I believe they share the county LEIN channel, 154.800, which used to be the EGR police channel before they combined fire & police. DPW is also on 158.940.

EGR PD is dispatched by Kent County Sheriff on North Dispatch: 155.01

They have two "local" channels: DPW 158.94 (which PD also uses) and 151.13 which
is PD.

Thier car untis begin with "East" and usually numbered 50 to 55. E55 is thier E unit.

Kent Co. LEIN is supposed to be 154.86R.154.800 should be the MAIN DISP freq. for EGRPD-but with light activity

I may be wrong, things may have changed, but I believe 154.860 is the LEIN channel for GRPD. 154.800 used to be EGR PD, 158.940 was their fire channel until they combined services. I believe 154.800 is now LEIN for County and EGR. EGR Police & Fire are now on 158.940.
