East Norwich 460.375 repeater and Oyster bay 460.550 repeater

Hey all, I was going through all my programmed info into my scanners and was curious what this frequency (460.375) is used for in East Norwich fire and what 460.550 is used for in Oyster Bay fire. Is it a fireground repeater or is it used for other things?

Are you in range and have you tried listening to see what they might be? It wouldn't surprise me if someone chimes in with the use for both freqs. Lots of freqs in the db that could use some better descriptions.

If it’s actually a repeater and not simplex, then yes, I am in range. However, there haven’t been any incidents recently and I don’t know when they are used so I don’t know when to tune to them

You have a 536hp, just throw all the questionable freqs in a favorites list and let it scan with your regular lists. Look into @ProScan software and let the scanner run day and night. You can selectively record any channels you wish for playback and review.

They are both used the same, they are repeaters and used as operation channel's truck to truck talk for alarms as there main dispatch is over low band 46.12. it also rebroadcast there tones and voice for alarms

Would you or anyone else know the uses for any of these, surely there is something better than Fire District or Fire. If so, could you make a db submission?
