East Point GA PD to 800?

Don't have my scanner with me as I sit here in East Point, GA via Wi-Fi.

Noticed two East Pt Police cars without the VHF 1/4 wave. Only the 800-1/4 wave. By the looks of the Moto portables.....look like those new 800-type.

I know East Pt Fire is already on Fulton's 800.

Has East Pt PD migrated to the Fulton 800-TRS too? By the looks of the patrol cars I'd guess so.

Julian - they do have MDT's in their patrol cars, that may be what the 1/4 wave on the cruiser is for. Don't know if they have gone 800 on dispatch or not.

East Point PD

I was eating lunch near Camp Creek earlier this week and still heard PD comms on 159.210. Can't imagine they won't make the switch soon, tho. RC
