East Providence DPW

Hello I have East Providence DPW programmed into my Uniden sds200 It is a DMR CAP+ The frequency is 451.0875 color code 15 TGID 100 The problem that I have is that the scanner stops on this channel even if no one is transmitting and will not scan Does anyone know how to get it to stop getting hits on this channel when no one is speaking

If it's indeed capacity plus you're going to run into data bursts about every 3 seconds when that frequency becomes the "rest channel". You'll need to determine if there's activity on the other (class FB2) frequecy on the license, 451.375 then program as a MOTOTRBO trunking system. You should then run LCN finder to determine proper LCNs to track the system properly (One frequency would typically be LSN 1/2, LCN 1 and Second frequency LSN 3/4, LCN 2) If no activity on the 2nd frequency then you should be able to get away with programming it as a DMR One Frequency system

I don't think it is a Cap+, and keep in mind SL 2 is used for LRRP

Yea true, I've seen LRRP miss IDed as CAP+ with my 536HP. Good thinking

EP is not a Cap+. The data may be LRRP, or who knows.
To the OP, you need to program this as a DMR One Frequency Trunk.
There are good instructions elsewhere here on how to do this. It's really easy.
Site: Whatever you want to call it. Frequency is 451.0875
Department: EP DPW TG is 100.

To W1KNE I programmed the DMR one frequency trunk correctly I simply added a new favorite list and selected DMR one frequency Thanks to all who replied to my post
