I have been using ARC536 to manually program my SDS100.
The reason I went with ARC536 is because I have used ARC300 to program my Radioshack Pro-164,
so I am used to the UI and programming within ARC.

But I was just curious if Proscan is just as easy to learn/use as the ARC software was for me?

Cool. it look nice, just to create nice GUI, and we are done ;)
That would take me a few years to do plus I would do an IOS version first since that is what I have.
You probably can do something like that to interface with the RSOIP server. There are a ton of sites on Android programming.

I'm not a programmer, but I'll ask my friend,
maybe he can help.

Just think..... if you were using ProScan, you could set it up and run the web server feature, and you could watch, listen to, and control your scanner from your cell phone while you are at work...... or anywhere else!
Can't be a very necessary "job" if you can do all that while at work. (n)
