ATTENTION SCANNER LISTENERS!
In an effort to be transparent with the public safety radio project, we would like to inform you of changes coming to the current radio frequencies.
Starting Monday, February 10th fire departments will begin using the new radio system. As departments upgrade radios, we will cease transmissions on the old system channel-by-channel over the next couple of months.
By the end of this month, we will no longer be transmitting police talkgroups on the old UHF system.

Our primary dispatch talkgroups will not encrypted and can be monitored by scanners with digital trunking capabilities.
