ebay 800mhz antenna

I apologize if this should have been posted in the "antenna" section; it looked like that was mostly people building antennas. Let me know if it needs to be moved.


Has anyone tried one of these "Professional Center Load" scanner antennas?

The guy has good feedback, and the price is pretty good.. I'm a little curious how long the antenna is though, and really curious how well it works, of course.

I've gotten a couple of antennas from that seller and both have worked great. I don't have the one you question though.

Have you ever used the radio shack 800mhz antenna? If so, how do those compare?

I went ahead and ordered the antenna. For $17 shipped it's hard to pass up.. I emailed the seller and he said the loaded coil one was the best performer. It's probably the longest too.. I'm gonna try to use it on the back of my 898t, So I'm not too concerned with the length.
