I almost busted a giblet from laughing when I saw what Mr. Pike has cobbled together for this months Ebay auction. This guy sticks things together in his garage and tries to peddle them as military satcom or HF through 2.4GHz antennas.

For this one it looks like he screwed a little plastic tray to a dog dish then glued a USB cable to it and he even made up an acronym for its use. Apparently NATE-1 stands for "NAVAL ADAPTED TACTICAL EXPEDITIONS" antenna and it supposedly covers UHF through 2.4GHz.

And since the software is not included I wonder if anyone who buys one will ever get it working.

Take a look at Ebay item 270617727404 but please make sure your bladder is empty first.

Is that a dog dish on the bottom? WOW!
Check out his other auctions as well, he has a "Projector and compass" for sale, Hate to tell him it's a "protractor", but what do I know?

His nautical projector guide and compass seems almost legitimate compared to the exotic piece of military gear that you found.

This is even more pathetic than his other contraptions!

I wonder if the wood screws are one of the "Cosmetic manufacturing marks present"???
Also- hopefully the dog bowl is an "interior U.S. component" and not a cheap one from China.

Surely someone in the U.S. military can knock on his door and politely ask him to stop claiming that this junk is something that they issue?
Someone may even get the idea that he is selling equipment that could compromise their communications, especially if he is offering to ship worldwide.

Yeah, a seller with absolutely no feedback, selling a contraption Rube Goldberg would laugh himself silly on, charging $19 shipping by Parcel Post with absolutely no returns. I have this beautiful bridge for sale. Wonder why he's getting no bids on this item or any others he's selling?

I must have searched through three hundred satcomm receivers/antennas looking for anything even close to what this POS is. I found nothing that combined an antenna that small combined with a receiver to put out a computer feed via USB. I wonder if he bought a cheap plastic cigarette case, put his crappy logo on it and then stuck a USB cable into it. Boy, I'd sure like to spend $85 on that paper weight.

And look at the shipping charges on this POS. Wow, I wouldn't buy a cigarette lighter from this *******.
