Auction started today at 4am PST, 4 days remain. Nothing to get too excited over yet

True, but a nice heads up can be helpful. I usually only check the "buy it nows" when I'm there for other purchases. If I see any good deals in the future I'll post them here so someone might be able to score.

I've been scouring Ebay for the past week and I saw this radio when it was first listed. It had a buy it now of $425. I nearly bought it but decided against it. I'm kicking myself now, I could have bought it and resold it for $900 judging by what idiots are paying for digital scanners on Ebay. There's another one with the "hum" and dust under the screen selling for an obscene amount of money as well. Odd thing is I swear it was up to $500 but now is $360. I wonder if someone didn't pay and he relisted it?

I still can't believe people are listing and apparently getting $400-$425 for brand new 325p2 scanners. I mean, they're $360 on Amazon brand new and you can return it if there's anything wrong with it.

I've started listing some of my old scanners on Ebay now. I guess it's a good time to sell 🤷‍♂️

You know, looking at this auction again, I'm starting to get a bad feeling. Covering up the serial number when you want to sell it, makes me wonder if it's stolen property. I'm not saying it is, I don't know, but it's just a feeling.

What a good laugh? My hope is that no one buys << IT >> at that price!

Someone will. In fact, it claims they already sold 12 of them at that price. I'm willing to bet someone on this site was in that number.

As I mentioned above, there's the "Gotta have it at any cost" people. I sold off all my old amateur radio gear years ago. Most of the radios I sold were well used, but taken care of. Most 10 or so years old. Most of the radios sold on e-Bay for more than I paid for them brand new.
I have no logical reason why other than someone just had to have it and was willing to outbid everyone else. I'm pretty sure there's a point where those with competitive mentalities get involved and will happily pay way too much for something just so they can be the winner, or get instantaneous gratification. I don't understand that, but I'm more than happy to take their money.

I sold a 20 year old radio for someone else on e-bay last year. Brand new, the radio cost about $500. It sold for close to $750. 20. year. old. radio.

Or, maybe I should have just said: "A fool and his money are soon parted." And there are an awful lot of fools out there.

Well, I've noticed in the past some people kept raising the price after an item is sold, so it APPEARS to the next person that it was sold at such and such a price, when in fact it was not.
