I am a user of Echolink on my computer and it works just fine. I am validated and authenticated. However, after adding the Echolink app on my iphone, the app won't allow me access. I get a message which says I am not validated. How can I fix this? Echolink is valuable to me because I live underground....literally. Thanks in advance.

Do you have your callsign and password entered into the Echolink app correctly? I have had this cause errors for me due to wrong password or messed up a character in my callsign.

I have recently tried an app called repeater phone on my iPhone, it has both EchoLink and Allstar in the app, if you can’t get EchoLink working try Repeater Phone as an alternate option.

Thanks to those who replied. Both gave helpful advice. As it turns out, I had incredibly typed my password into my phone incorrectly seven or eight times in a row! Initially, I doubted that was the problem after the suggestion was made to me on this forum. One extra try proved successful however. Now I'll be able to check into nets while hiking or running around town doing errands. Your help made all the difference. This forum and its contributors are a great resource.
