Ector county

New to site searched odessa and ector county. Had a old cheep desktop scanner many years back. Enjoyed listening to odessa police and Ector county sherif my question with all the changes (trunking ect...) will one of the portable units at radio shack do what I need.

They are on a Motorola trunked system in P25 phase 1. Some of their comms are in the clear while some use ADP encryption.
