EDACS on the Home Patrol 2

I noticed while scanning the NYCOMCO EDACS (Dutchess, Orange, Ulster Public Safety) Trunking System, Various, New York - Scanner Frequencies there seems to be a slight problem like what happened with the 536 and 436 of the scanner hanging a bit and hearing the EDACS beep tones after the transmissions. Uniden aware of this?

I listen to an EDACS system on my HP-II and have not had any hanging issues, on EDACS or any other system. Make sure your squelch is at 2 or above.

I get the same thing, usually when I don't have a great signal. When I'm getting a good signal, there is only one brief beep at the end of the transmission.
