I'm a bit tired (DK), but I couldn't see how to start a new thread in the new format. Also, I'm not sure if I should ask this here or in the software forum.
I'm trying to setup radio id's in an EDACS system (Denver). I can enter 13007 for the fire dept., but I can't enter 13407. It rounds off to 1340. They have both come up on the display during a transmission.

You should be able to enter whatever you like as long as the object is set to private call. I assume your talking about the PSR500/600

You should put the talkgroups in as Decimal Rather than AFS format. It looks like you have too many numbers & they don't match the Denver EDACS system to which you referred--Or do you just want to listen to certain LID's?

Are you just trying to listen to just Chief 7?

Thanks for the reply. I posted that about two months ago and have pretty much mastered the PSR500 & Win500. Lately I've been doing searches and it doesn't seem to do well in the VHF range. I'm sure a better antenna will help. I saw a nice swivel & telescopic one on Scanner Master that would be approx. $35 delivered (Ouch). I'm on vacation so I'm going to take the scanner out in the world today which I seldom do.
