Hey tflatt281, I clicked on your link to the Bell Co EDACS system and the RRDB shows all the TG's listed
are in EDACS Standard (Analog) "A" mode except for these 4 TG's show Pro-Voice (Digital) "D" mode etc.
You may luck out programing in that your system does not employ "ESK" (Enhanced Security Key)
which renders the control channel encrypted (like San Antonio uses) thus no trunk tracking w/o key # !.

I like KevinC suggestion of calling up Michael Harmon Exec Dir of the Bell Co 911 Comm Center ;)
He might say sorry son no 3rd party non-dept owned radios and or refer you to your future FD dept ?
Hopefully you don't hear .... click ! You say ... Hello, are you still there ? Now go on and make their day :)

I appreciate he feed back, im currently deployed so phone calls are out of the question plus id rather not call him until i was on a dept just so wouldnt look like a *** clown. Right now im put of the states until march so i have a hot min before im back just doing some research on there radio setup sovin the future when i join iv got a idea of what kinda setup i need and price range and your right that may not allow private owned radios but as of right now its just all research. I had a private mobile for the dept i was on in TN but it was a very small community with no complicated encrypted radio stuff
