I had the Sherrif's Dept in today tuning in there Comm's on top of our building, and I asked why OKC went to Edacs. He said MACOMM (sp) showed them that they could program in and talk to any agency with their new system and showed them right then and there that they could. Motorola said we can also, OKC said ok show us and Motorola said just trust us.

So since they didn't show them they went to Edacs. The deputy said Motorola really messed up tulsa. and motorola was charging Norman 180,000 dollars a year for their service contract, and Norman dropped that contract and just started doing it themselves and now it is working alot better. The deputy said it was to expensive for them to switch so their staying with their 460 freq.
