Ok I am trying to program in the St tammany EDACS Standard system. My scanner however refers to EDACS WIDE and EDACS NARROW and EDACS SCAT.

Which one would be EDACS standard?

Which, as far as I know, they are. Certainly the SO is using ProVoice according to all reports.

Speaking of St. Tammany

I found out recently STSO is, I guess, ProVoice.

I traveled through Slidell with Slidell PD programmed as Moto I, preset plan 2. I heard nothing.

slidell pd is still up and running

Slidell is one of the few Type I PS systems still in use.. but as of full integration of the LATIE Plan, and rebanding.. Slidell will go to an ASTRO system with patches into the LATIE 700 MHz ASTRO-25.

I'm monitoring the St Tammany EDACS system and I am hearing the dispatcher on 2 of the channels "in the clear." I have heard no mobile units.
