i'm trying to monitor the AEP EDACS system (http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=783) here in east texas. I have two sites close to my location the Rosewood and Mineola sites. I have them in different scan banks programmed in the scanner. When i try to listen to them one at a time they will show a AFS Talk group on the wildcard but no audio is coming through. I do have the current new updates from GRE programmed in my scanner. I have about 3 power bars for both systems..the "T" is showing up showing it's trunking the system. If anyone can give me some advice to maybe why i can't get the audio. I imported this system from Win500 through the internet import feature from the RR DB

Win500 defaults to "CC only", even for EDACS (which it shouldn't do). Make sure you uncheck that option before importing EDACS or LTR systems.

Boulder,
Don't know if it would make any difference for you, but take a peek at this thread.

heigtx after looking at it further in the settings for this system it seems the scanner has it in NFM mode so i'm going to try to scan it tomorrow when the system is active with NFM turned off and see if that will help me out...maybe that will help get the audio through.
