Edison Twnshp and Middlesex county

Leaving Newark and spending time in Edison. It appears they are all using Apco 25 systems.I have a Pro 95 that I travel with and it doesnt do APCo 25. Anthing i can monitor or should I leave it home? Anyone have online scanner in that area? Thanks in advance

Edison uses a APCO 25 compliant system. All police and most fire are encrypted as well. Fire and EMS dispatch are simulcasted on analog. All of the good stuff just can't be monitored. There is a whole lot of action in surrounding communities that is well worth monitoring. Take a look at the RR.Com database.Up to date and reliable data.

All digital PD are encrypted and on rare occassions, fire becomes encrypted (for whatever reason, I don't know [it normally happens on the Fireground TG's and only from the dispatch side]). DPW and Services are analog and Firte/EMS are digital clear. BOE is analog and most businesses are analog. Edison is always hopping, so your bound to hear something going on.
